Terms of Use / End-User License Agreement

These Terms govern your use of HN Ledger Bridge (the “Application”), an internal/business financial data integration and bookkeeping support application that may connect to QuickBooks Online and related The Hynes Financial Group systems.

1. Permitted use

You may use the Application solely for legitimate business purposes of The Hynes Financial Group, including authorized bookkeeping support, accounting data integration, reconciliation assistance, and related internal financial operations. You may not use the Application for unlawful purposes, unauthorized access, or any activity that interferes with the security or integrity of connected systems.

2. Authorization to connect accounting systems

By connecting QuickBooks Online or other accounting systems, you represent that you are authorized to grant The Hynes Financial Group access to the relevant company files and data within the scope of the permissions you approve on the connected platform. Connection does not expand rights beyond those permissions.

3. No guarantee of uninterrupted service

The Application is provided on an “as available” basis. The Hynes Financial Group does not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation. Availability may be affected by maintenance, third-party platform outages (including Intuit/QuickBooks), network issues, or other factors outside our reasonable control.

4. User responsibility for reviewing accounting changes

You remain responsible for reviewing accounting entries, classifications, mappings, and resulting books and records. The Application supports bookkeeping workflows; it does not replace professional judgment. You should verify material changes in QuickBooks or other source systems before relying on them for financial, tax, or operational decisions.

5. Data access subject to connected-platform permissions

Data accessed through the Application is limited to what you (or an authorized administrator) approve via OAuth or equivalent authorization on connected platforms. Revoking permissions on those platforms, or disconnecting the Application, limits or ends further access according to the connected platform’s rules and our retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Hynes Financial Group and its owners, officers, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; lost profits; business interruption; or data loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Application or connected third-party services. Aggregate liability relating to the Application is limited to the greater of (a) fees paid specifically for the Application in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

7. Termination and disconnection

You may disconnect the Application at any time using the Disconnect page, Intuit/QuickBooks app management controls, or by contacting us. The Hynes Financial Group may suspend or terminate access for security, compliance, operational, or policy reasons. Disconnection stops further authorized use of the connection; it does not automatically delete or reverse prior bookkeeping entries already recorded in QuickBooks or other systems.

8. Intellectual property

The Application, including its name, branding, documentation, and related materials, is owned by The Hynes Financial Group or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property. QuickBooks Online and related marks are property of Intuit Inc. and its affiliates. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.

9. Governing terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local law applies. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the agreement regarding public use of the Application’s connection surfaces described here.

This Application does not claim CPA firm certification status, regulatory licenses, or third-party endorsements beyond ordinary use of connected platforms under their standard terms.
