This Privacy Policy describes how The Hynes Financial Group (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with HN Ledger Bridge, including when the Application connects to QuickBooks Online and related Hynes systems.
1. Information we may process
- QuickBooks / accounting data authorized through the connected company file (for example, accounts, vendors, customers, and accounting records within granted scopes).
- OAuth authorization data such as authorization grants, tokens, and related metadata needed to maintain a secure connection.
- Account / company identifiers including company IDs, realm IDs, and similar platform identifiers.
- Transaction and accounting records accessed to support bookkeeping and integration workflows.
- Mortgage / property bookkeeping records where applicable to Hynes Financial Group bookkeeping support.
- Operational contact information you provide when requesting support (for example, email).
2. Purpose of processing
We process this information to operate authorized financial data integration and bookkeeping support workflows for The Hynes Financial Group; to establish, maintain, and revoke OAuth connections; to troubleshoot connectivity; and to meet security and compliance obligations.
3. No sale of personal data
We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Limited internal use
Access is limited to authorized internal personnel and systems that need the information to perform bookkeeping support and integration functions. The Application is not a public consumer product marketplace.
5. Secure token storage and access controls
OAuth tokens and related secrets are stored using access-controlled systems operated by The Hynes Financial Group. Access is restricted on a need-to-know basis. Client secrets and tokens are never displayed on this public website.
6. Retention
We retain connection and operational records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal/accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Retention periods may vary by record type and business need.
7. Deletion and disconnection
You may disconnect the Application using the Disconnect page, Intuit/QuickBooks controls, or by contacting us. After disconnection, we stop using the connection for ongoing access. Previously written accounting entries in QuickBooks or other systems are not automatically deleted by disconnection. Requests related to deletion of retained operational records can be sent to the contact below; we will respond as required by applicable law and operational constraints.
8. Third-party providers
- Intuit / QuickBooks Online — accounting platform and OAuth provider.
- Microsoft — business productivity and related services used by The Hynes Financial Group (for example, Microsoft 365 mail).
- Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, HTTPS delivery, and edge security for this public site.
Third parties process data under their own terms and privacy policies when you use their services.
9. Security limitations
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting credentials on systems you control and for reviewing permissions granted to connected applications.
10. Children’s privacy
The Application is intended for business use by authorized adults and is not directed to children.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published on this page.
